Registration

According to the laws of the Russian Federation all foreign nationals must register themselves with the local authorities within seventy two hours (Except weekends, bank holidays and official Russian holidays).

Registration is simply a type of migration control and allows the FMS to keep tighter control over illegal CIS country immigrants. Unfortunately tourist and business people from other countries will fall under this ruling.

Registration will most often be an official stamp in your passport or migration card followed by you receiving a registration slip. The registration slip will bear the name and address of your host/inviting party, which could be the name of your hotel, student accommodation or apartment.

Tourist Registration
Within three days of your arrival in Moscow we will need a scanned copy of your photo page of your passport, a copy of your tourist visa and a copy of your immigration card that you filled in on the way to Russia. If you have received your invitation from Visa2day then it will only cost you 900 Roubles to register you for up to ninety days. If you received your invitation from another agency and you wish to use our registration service the fee is 1200 Roubles.

Business Registration
Within three days of your arrival in Moscow we will need a scanned copy of the photo page from your passport, a copy of your business visa and a copy of your immigration card that you filled in on the way to Russia. Business visa registration can change depending on the individual, so our prices range from 1500 to 3000 Roubles. Please contact us to arrange this service.

You may come to our offices or alternatively scan your documents and we may send a courier to your office with your original registration slip to wherever you are in Russia. (There is an extra fee for this service).
